Sri Elangovan D., S/o Sri Dakshinamurthy, aged about 54 years, residing at No.
266/8, 3rd Main, 7th Cross, Hanumanthanagara, Bengaluru – 560019, wish to bring to
your kind notice that the owner of the adjacent property, Smt. Smitha,(mobile : 9945795663) residing at No.
266/7, 3rd Main, Hanumanthanagara, Bengaluru – 560050, has undertaken
construction of a residential building on a 20×30 ft site.
However, the said construction has been raised to more than 50 feet in height, which is
far beyond the permissible limits prescribed under the BBMP Building Bye-Laws for such a
site. The construction also appears to be carried out without proper setback and safety
measures, causing damage to my property and posing serious structural and fire safety
risks to the adjoining buildings.
I therefore request your good office to:
1. Inspect the property at No. 266/7 immediately;
2. Verify the sanctioned building plan; and
3. Take necessary action against the illegal construction under the BBMP Building
Bye-Laws and KMC Act, including stoppage and demolition of unauthorized portions.
