The performance of the CVOs, as reported by them in their annual reports to the Commission, is given in Annexure-3-G.Based on the data as given in the annexure quoted above, it is seen that during the year 2010, punitive action was taken in a total of 13584 cases (for all category of officers) dealt with by the CVO's. Major penalty was awarded in 3853 cases and minor penalty was awarded in 8307 cases.The details on major and minor penalties imposed are given below
